Where are you located?
J-Oliver Photography Studios Is located in East Pilsen just Minutes away from Downtown Chicago.
How soon should I book my shoot?
It’s never too early to schedule your photoshoot. Sometimes we can accommodate last minute requests, but we recommend a 5-8 week notice. You should plan to have your shoot between 28-35 weeks.
Can my Child and Partner Be in the Pictures?
Absolutely! The father of your child(ren), and your child(ren) are welcome to join.
Do you provide Dresses/fabrics/accessories?
Yes! We offer a selection of complimentary gowns and fabrics.
How do I prepare for my session?
Try to avoid wearing tight underwear and clothing on the day of the session to prevent marks on your skin. Get a manicure and a pedicure a day or two in advance. We recommend Professional hair and makeup artistry.
What should I wear for my maternity session?
After booking, We will discuss your clothing ideas.
It is recommended that you bring:
-Nude (skin tone) strapless bra
-Nude Thong Underwear.
What is the turnaround time?
You will be sent a private online gallery to choose your favorite images for retouching 24 hours after your shoot. Retouching typically takes 7-10 or 14-21 business days depending on the type of session.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept: Credit Cards, Cash and Zelle
What if I need to reschedule my session?
Deposits for photoshoots are non-refundable, however, if you need to cancel, your deposit can be applied toward a future session scheduled within 12 months of the original booking date. Please provide at least 48 hours notice to cancel/reschedule.
Can I add Makeup?
For your convenience, a professional makeup ad on is available for all photoshoots. This ensures you'll look and feel your best, with a polished and camera ready finish tailored to your style. Simply let us know if youd like to include this service when booking your session.
